good coffeemaker, terrible carafe

Good coffeemaker, terrible carafe. The carafe allows the steam from the hot coffee to all but burn your hand as you pour. And the carafe dribbles and slobbers on the counter when you try to fill your cup.

Excellent coffee maker. Timed to make coffee in the morning, removable water tank so the water doesn't get greasy from always using the carafe to fill it. Great buy.

Works well and was 50% off. We’ve had it for a few months and really enjoy the timer feature for the mornings. The carafe is easy to pour without spills unlike other units we’ve had.

A: Hello, thank you for your question. All components that touch the water are BPA free. For all coffee makers it is recommended to run it once or twice with water only before first use. Hope this helps.

Q: Is the keep warm function adjustable as to how long to maintain warmth. If so, what is the longest duration?

A: The current 12 Cup Coffee Maker does not have a Keep Warm programmable timer. It is a 30 minute timer before the Keep Warm function turns off. Clicking the Keep Warm button after the function has shut off will restart the timer for another 30 minutes.
