    Better than cheaper basters

    This baster works better than cheaper basters. Found that there was a bit of leakage when held vertically but considerably less than cheaper versions. Brush works well for clean up.

    This is a good quality baster; strong materials with good suction. I didn't use the cleaning brush yet as it cleans fine in the dishwasher (taken apart).

    Q: Is the baster tube glass or plastic?  I’ve used a plastic baster where the tip melted when inserted in the pan drippings—completely useless.  Does the tip on this one maintain its shape?
