Q: what is the pressure rating for this pump and flow rate is it suitable for carboreted engine

A: Please contact your local Auto Parts counter at the Canadian Tire store to ensure that you get the correct part, as this is an application specific part. The pump mentioned (023-6102) fits Ford Trucks with a 7.3L Diesel engine but it has been discontinued by Canadian Tire.

Q: Dodge did not have fuel injection on its W and D100-350 trucks until 1988, why would this part show up on search for 1987 ? 1987 should be mechanical fuel pump, not a fuel injection style pump.

A: This is the “default” fuel pump that is retrieved when looking up “fuel pump” without using the actual application specific auto parts look-up. It may have also been the result of using the specific vehicle look-up than subsequently using the search bar. If the specific auto parts lookup is used, the customer would receive sku#23-6863 (Part# 69404) as a result.
