Multinautic has developed heavy-duty dock hardware kits to allow you to easily build the wood dock of your dreams. Featuring our heavy-duty hardware and floats, you can choose between medium and high freeboard kits to match your nautical activities. Start with a semi-floating section and connect it to one or more floating docks. Family and friends will fully enjoy the summer fun. For this 4' x 16' semi-floating dock with a HIGH freeboard, no.19476, the list of wood to get locally is detailed in the PDF file available for download.

  • Connect it to one or more Multinautic 8'x16' High Floating Wood Dock Section (item No.19477) with Heavy Duty hinges (19133 sold separately) for a roughly 21 in. freeboard, good for pontoons, power boats, etc.

  • Includes HDG steel hardware for a 4 ft. x 16 ft. dock: HD structural corner brackets (4x) with back plates (6x), joists corners (2x) w/back plates (4x), HD leg holders/chain retainers (2x), carriage bolts

  • Also included: two 3' HDG steel posts for a start on the shoreline or in the water, equipped with PVC caps and steel base plates that let the piles slide through, to be driven into shore ground or lake bottom, then secured in place, preventing it from sinking deeper

  • A Floating dock layout needs a Semi-Floating section for a smooth transition with the shore or with a fixed dock

  • This semi-floating dock height matches a high freeboard floating dock layout with its two 24 x 48 x 16 dock floats (600 lbs. buoyancy each)

  • Suggested lumber is 2 in. x 6 in. for a sturdy dock that will be light enough to ease installation. Use 2 in. x 8 in. for demanding locations, see the image and the, PDF file for the material list

  • This gangway can be installed as stand-alone walkway in moderate use but will need anchorings

  • Includes HDG lag bolts and large flat washers to install the floats
