Poor customer service + go kart arrived not functioning

We ordered the go kart online and picked it up at Canadian Tire - brought it home, took 4 hours to put it together only for it to stop working after a few zips up and down the road. We went to Canadian Tire the next day looking to rectify this issue. We were told to wait to speak to a manager - however, when manager came out he was dismissive and said they couldn't do anything because it was ordered online and so we had to contact Greenworks directly. Even after attempts to discuss, he was dismissive and left us frustrated and so we left. This go kart is expensive and was a gift. Even if Canadian Tire doesn't carry this product in store, it is facilitated through their website and should attempt to help their customer. Now we have a brand new go kart that didn't work, had thr hassle to go through Greenworks who referred us to a backyard mechanic to see if it could be fixed because they do not replace unless necessary. If I could turn back time...

We understand how frustrating it is when a unit stops working shortly after setup and when the support experience does not meet expectations. For the go-kart itself, a few quick checks can often resolve no-run or intermittent power issues: please ensure both 60V batteries are fully charged and firmly seated, confirm all harness connections (especially under the seat and near the control module) are fully clicked in, and verify the safety features are engaged properly, this includes the seat switch, brake pedal interlock, and key/power switch. It is also worth checking that the charger is indicating a full charge (solid green) and that no error lights are present on the control panel. If the unit powered briefly and then stopped, a loose connection or safety interlock is often the cause. That said, we do see that you have already been in contact with support, and we are continuing to work with you to determine the appropriate next step under warranty. While retailer policies can vary for online orders, our goal is to ensure you have a fully functioning product, and we appreciate your patience. Batteries and range

First week using go kart . It rides good and supports my weight at 255lbs however , I can clearly see this thing has never reached anywhere close to 20 miles in eco my son is constantly swapping the batteries charging them . Using my mower batteries to make it through the day . Looks like y’all making some false claims

For optimal product performance, install two batteries at the same time and make sure that the batteries are fully charged. *Batteries above 4Ah are recommended. The unit has 2-Drive Modes - Sport Mode up to 25 MPH and Eco Mode up to 15 MPH.
