Good String of Lites So Far

Seems to be well-constructed, with good light brightness for C6 lamps. However time will tell on their durability as I've purchased several of these types of strings in the past and have had a few of them fail after two or three years of use. The extended warranty period is appreciated, when honoured.

Q: Would these work with the Noma Advanced Smart 2.0 Hub?

A: These simple lights don't have any builtin switching, so you would need a smart plug or outlet.

Q: Can these new enhanced lights be strong along a metal railing ? It says not to install on trees with needles,leaves or branch coverings of metal. So I wondered about our deck railing which is metal.

A: Hello Gail. The warning you are referring to on this NOMA Advanced product is to watch carefully when using the string to decorate artificial trees. As any product that uses electricity, you should always watch for sharp metal edges that risk scraping away the insolation. I would assume your metal deck railing will be smooth, otherwise someone could scrape their hand. As long as you make sure the string is secured against a flat surface, and won't blow back and forth in the wind, then you should be absolutely fine. There is nothing wrong with having this string mounted against a metal surface. Just be sure it isn't sharp. Thank you for your question and Merry Christmas.
