Bad product and bad support

As other reviews have stated, these stopped functioning properly. I bought 5 boxes in November 2025, put them up outside, and just before Christmas they started malfunctioning. We had a lot of snow in NW Alberta this year and it was impossible to safely take them down to return. Now that I could safely take them down, I took them to Canadian Tire where I was told I can only get warranty which will replace them with the same lights AND I need to wait until the fall because they don't have any in stock since it's spring. If it was one or two strands I would be more than happy to have them replaced in the fall, but with all 5 strands failing it feels like a bad product and I really don't want the same ones again. Called the number the AI bot replies to all the bad reviews with and was told to go to the store I purchased them at for warranty issues, bad product and bad service.

N'achetez pas. J'ai acheté en 2024 et en 2 ans toutes les lumières sont des fonctionnelles !! Je l'avais acheté en me disant que la garantie de 10 ans allait m'offrir la tranquillité d'esprit. Je n'ai plus la facture alors NOMA et le magasin se lance la balle. Le produit était même pas inventé en 2016 et c'est la marque maison de canadian tire. Désolant de se cacher derrière un manque de facture.

Not Great

These failed 2 weeks after I bought them. The colour change options stopped working. Now they are mostly white, but a few bulbs are different colors, while some don't light up at all. Not worth the price in my opinion.

Some bulbs wouldn’t come on at all, others wouldn’t follow the set patterns or colours. It was such a waste of money. Very disappointed.

Q: Is it possible to connect multiple strands together of the same product?

A: Hello Ralph. Yes, The NOMA Advanced Lightshow 50 Icicle LED Light uses 30 watts per sting. The maximum recommended wattage per outlet is 216 watts. Q: I bought my set of noma advanced light show icicle in Oct 2022 they worked fine for Xmas 2022. This year I just put them up and when I try to change colour only a few changes colour the rest stay white, why?

A: Hello jane333. Thank you for your question. I'll try to guide you as best as I can. First, set your lights to the setting you want using the Colours and Effects (1-7) buttons. Once you have what you want, press 8 to load/save into Favorites. You can do this up to 5 times, but you don't have to. Just add as many as you want. Let's start with loading two Favorites. Once you have multiple favorites saved in 8, you can manually switch them using 9. Press 9 a second time to skip to the second loaded favorite. Press 9 a third time for the third favorite...etc. If you would rather them automatically cycle through all your saved favorites, press 10. I hope the above is helpful. Q: My power source is in the middle and I would like to run one strand of lights to the right and one to the left. Is there a splitter to do this so that I use only one power adapter. If not, how do I do it with one power adapter?

A: Hello Abhilash64. Thank you for your question. I'm sorry, but these NOMA Advanced Lightshow 50 Icicle LED Lights will only synchronized when plugged end-to-end as per the instructions. There is no splitter or add-on adapter that is compatible. You can set them up as you suggest. They will both be controllable independently via the single remote. Q: I just bought and installed 4strands of these about 4 weeks ago. Today I noticed a number of lights are not on and when I use the remote I get random wrong colour lights illuminated. Like a couple red lights when I select white. Have these malfunctioned?
