The 30-inch width provides room to roll, and dynamic side rails keep you on your pad. Ergonomic body mapping optimizes comfort, and the V chamber design limits air movement to help maintain maximum insulating performance. This backcountry bed packs to about the size of a one-liter water bottle, inflates easily, and weighs just 32 ounces while the 75D fabric ensures durable long term use. With an ASTM R-rating of 2.4 provides a comfortable 3 season pad.

Comfort Without Weight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an incredible sleeping pad for those looking for something small and lightweight. It inflated in under a minute, held air well, and passed the test for this side sleeper. One of my photos shows it next to the Klymaloft Summit pad from Kylmit. The Static is clearly a simpler pad, but they haven’t sacrifice comfort to keep it light weight.

Uncomfortable and not very durable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to give the Klymit Static V Summit Sleeping Pad a try on my hardwood floors before taking it out for a camping trip once the weather warms up. Unfortunately, it also turns out to be its one and only try! (At least for me.) I like that the pad is a double and easily fits two average size adults. The pad inflated very quickly because of its ridge design. However, I found the ridges to be uncomfortable and bumpy even under blankets or a sleeping bag. I would never get restful sleep on this pad. Mere minutes after inflating the pad, my favorite camping companion, Betsy the German Shepherd, attempted to join me on the pad for a trial rest. I heard the puncture sound as soon as she put her freshly trimmed paws on the pad. Now fortunately, the pad came with a single patch, so I patched up the new tear and quickly deflated the pad. I spent a good 15 minutes trying to shove the pad back in its bag (which has a clip to attach to your pack). The pad is lightweight but overall, I found it uncomfortable and not nearly durable enough if your camping companion has four paws. 🐾 🐾

Perfect for campers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Genius design and very comfortable for camping. I used an electric pump and it blew up in seconds. Comes in a compact bag that fits easily even after use. Great value for camping comfort. Maintenance free unless you pop it which can be patched. Great insulation.
