Q: How easy would it be to get into if a person had a few mins.

A: Very, very easy. With a 24" or longer crowbar it would take an adult less than 30sec. It might take a 10year old a minute. Could pry apart the side walls from the back panel as there are no fastners between the top and bottom. Or, could bend the door frame away from the door at the side opposite the hinge.

A: Better answer: China, but it shouldn't be considered a gun safe. It's only a cabinet to stop small children from getting in. A 10 year-old with a pry bar could break into it.

Q: what is the fire rating and the waterproof rating

A: Zero. The walls are not sealed to the top, bottom, or each other. The base plate sits outside the walls at the bottom, so it wouldn't even protect from water running down the sides. The metal walls are very thin and due to not sealing to the back plate wouldn't even be smokeproof. Nor does the door seal to the frame.

Q: Scoped gun stand off. What are people using to place their guns with scopes on it? My old gun cabinet had a attachment so the standoff was further out but they don’t sell one for this cabinet.

A: Place base on floor. (B) Put side walls on base. Left (C) right (D) Put top on walls. (A) Loosely place bolts x4 at top and bottom of rear plate with dome-cap nuts (nuts inside cabinet.) Loosely place bolts x8 at top and bottom of front walls (nylocks nuts inside cabinet.) Tighten rear bolts. Tighten front bolts. Loosely screw in 6x screws through hinge plate into door. Check door alignment, tighten door screws. Slide shelf over shelf hangers. Place foam barrel holders and screw in screws from outside of cabinet side walls. Secure to wall or floor to prevent tipping over.
