This sprinkler uses an infrared sensor to detect critters up to 60 feet away and responds with a startling surge of water that will send even the sneakiest of vandals running. Just place the metal spike anywhere in your yard and the motion-activated sprinkler will do the rest, spraying a brief but powerful blast to scare away unwanted animal guests. Set it to continuous spray mode and the unit doubles as a low-flow sprinkler for your plants, using a mere 2-3 cups of water per spray. Cleverly designed to be eco-friendly and effective, this is pest control with a sense of humor.

I’ll be returning.

I’ve been using this for a week and I’ve found that it just does its own thing regardless of what it’s set at. Sometimes it keeps going when it’s set to do the “burst”, sometimes it won’t shut off unless the tap is turned off. Sometimes it shuts off when it’s turned to “stay on”. I can’t trust that it’s working to repel anything as I have to go mess with it to get it to work at all.

Have only been using it for a week now, and has worked well. It has not been falsely activated that we know of. We did see on camera that it was activated when two raccoons walked through our yard and they both ran off.
