No stake included

There’s no stake included or no way to attach this rain gauge to a post or stake it into the ground. The description on the back of the package says there is a metal stake included but there is not. I didn’t even notice when I purchased it. I only realized it when I went to put this rain gauge out. I live out of town so a big pain to drive all the way back in to ask if there is a stake. I’ll figure something out myself at the farm but it’s really annoying.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Very Inaccurate

I tested this against my smaller rain guage which measured almost twice the amount rain...bought a third one to test further and it matched my other small one. Both are straight cylinders with exact inch marks so logical...this Jumbo sized rain guage with a wider scoop on the top looks cool but measures much less than the other two, almost half as much so the marking are all wrong! It's totally inaccurate. I'm so sad cause I threw away the box so can't take it back I don't think,
