Works on black flies

DEET doesn’t work on black flies. I’ve seen them bite while being drowned in top of the line 30% DEET based repellent. Lemon eucalyptus is the only thing that works on them and this product is my favourite. It smells amazing and has a refreshing, cooling effect. It doesn’t work on mosquitoes though and this is why there are so many negative reviews. The manufacturer should be clear about this, perhaps name it a black fly repellent. Mosquitoes are a much easier problem to solve than black flies and there are hundreds of good products available, from repellents to smoke coils and Thermacell fumigators. Black flies are notoriously difficult to repell, their bites are much more painful and itch more. This product is a miracle. I would gladly pay $100 a bottle if they jacked up the price.
