Great replacement switch for Wemo/Belkin products

Belkin discontinued support for legacy Wemo devices, shutting down the app. Initially after the app was discontinued the unit worked with whatever previous program I had installed but eventually even that didn’t work. Good news the Globe products work great - I have several Globe products including the wall switch I just purchased from Canadian Tire and several smart cubes that I use around the house - all are programable and have been working great now for several years. Highly recommend them as they are easily programmable and have worked well.

Garbage Product

This is a piece of junk. WiFi connectivity was terrible and the router is only 10' away. After a month it just stopped working altogether. It's shameful a company would manufacture such an unreliable product. Canadian Tire, take this product off your shelves.

Lasted four months, now dead. Not sure what to replace it with - seems like a waste of money to try again though use other globe products which seem to work.

The Globe Smart Wi-Fi Switch is typically designed for standard single-gang electrical boxes, but it can be installed in a double-gang switch box—as long as the box has enough space to accommodate multiple switches side by side.
