A $500 fan!

Purchased a week ago. Unit works one out of 7 times. Most times just the fan comes on with no A/C compressor, regardless if you turn it on with the remote or app. Speaking of the app (ConnectLife) it's very poor. Has limited controls, scheduler doesn't work correctly, and doesn't work with Google Home. It's really unfortunate, as the unit is a great size and looks good, but most days it's just a very expensive fan!

I have only owned it for a few days, but do far I am impressed. easy to install and the unit seems well built. it is a very quiet unit so ideal for the bedroom. I would love a chance to give another review after a month or two.

I purchased this to replace a portable unit that wasn't cooling a small room anymore. After some research this unit had all the requirements I was looking for. Amazingly it was priced the same as units with way less perks. It is designed for a horizontal closing window but it works just as well with a vertical window like mine. After turning it on within 5 minutes the room temperature was perfect. It is extremely quiet and easy to operate, the remote control is so worth having. It's a win, win purchase.

A: I think you're talking about the compressor that sits outside the window. This is partly what makes this machine so quiet, the compressor is outside and the fan is inside. The window comes down separating the 2.
