- A: Approximate hold capacity is up to 20 lbs.* Please note that the *hold capacity will vary depending on particle size. (Weight based on medium sized kibble.) - A: The answer is a 100% yes. Our locking lid storage cans are rodent proof (including raccoons). The proprietary locking bail keeps the lid locked and even if the raccoon(s) are able to disengage the locking mechanism; our lids are friction-fit tight and cannot be easily removed. Additionally, the steel construction keeps critters from chewing through like we’ve seen happen with plastic containers.
