Very accute

I had already an oven thermometer, and I bought this Accutemp Pro Oven thermometer to see if it is my oven or my thermometer was wrong. My oven was wrong, it gets 150 degree hotter than settled to be. The Accutemp Pro is very easy to install, stay in place and show quickly the temperature.

Not reliable

Do not buy this oven thermometer. It is not reliable. We put our oven at the same setting and it recorded the temperature at between 50 and 150 degrees at different times. It is garbage and we threw it out. Our food ended up over or undercooked.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: 150°F to 249°F = ±13°F 250°F to 349°F = ±10°F 350°F to 499°F = ±5°F 500°F to 600°F = ±10°F

Q: Would this be safe to go on the BBQ?

A: The thermometer can be used in an environment up to 600 degrees. However, grills can get hotter than that and can be subjected by an open flame. So we do not recommend using it in a grill.
