Won't be buying from this brand again (CANVAS).

I wouldn't buy this again. We loved this set until the problem with the cushions and the table came up. We've taken good care of this set by bringing the cushions in every fall/winter and keeping them covered and out of the rain during the spring/summer months. However, the cushions have started developing vertical runs. along them and they're getting worse over time. The table also developed a straight line crack on one side of the frame where the glass sits. Presumably where the circle is welded together. Canadian tire is willing to replace the table since it is still within the 5 year warranty period but they said the fabric and cushions only had a one year. Fair enough, I call the manufacturer to ask how I can buy new cushion covers. They can't get me any. They told me that they have no way of selling me anything. I asked what I'm supposed to do when the fabric looks like cheap and is falling apart. and I want new cushion covers to match and replace the ones that look bad. She suggested I have new covers/cushions made. I should mention that the cushions that are the worst affected are the ones in the corner of the L which are angled and not generic sizes and shapes so I can't just buy any old cushions to replace them. Now I have to find someone who can re-cover all of the cushions as they likely won't have the exact fabric to match the cushions that are still in good condition. The customer service team at Canadian tire have been great. They are trying really hard to help make things right but it's CANVAS that has been causing the issue. They make the product but refuse to sell it to you. BTW I have outdoor cushions that are 3 times older than this set and they still look perfect to this day. Don't buy unless you plan on throwing it out within 5 years.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Bought 2 /3 years ago, very much enjoyed this set, just oerfect for our deck. We swited the left and right wings, (So 3 seats are right hand facing), it says you cant but we did it fine, dont think we even drilled new holes.The only down side is the cover dosnt fit snug, but it still covers all the seats and the back etc. Would happily recomend this set to someone for the price. We remove the cusions for the winter, but they havent faded or worn yet. An adult can lay down on each wing, Cusions do get a bit a warm in the sun, but to be expected with dark grey fabric.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Brand new patio set with broken piece, but no meaningful customer service provided!

I purchased the patio furniture online from our local store in South Surrey and picked it up with the assist of my neighbour who has a pick up truck. When I began to put it together, it was clear as soon as I opened the box that one of the welds was not done properly and was split through about 80% of the way through. I immediately called the store but they did not have any more of the set so they said they couldn’t help me directly, but did provide the number of the Richmond Canadian Tire store on #3 Road. I called that store and they had one set, so I could exchange the broken piece for the one they had in the store. The issue is that they would not hold the item past the end of the day, and because of the size of it, it would not fit in my SUV (and my neighbour who helped me initially pick up the entire set with his pick up truck was away for 4 days and couldn’t assist me). I am disappointed that the store wouldn’t hold the piece and they would not transfer it to the South Surrey store. I will need to find a company to weld the broken section at my expense, which is clearly not what anyone would expect to have to do with a brand new set right out of the original boxes (and this is a $2,300 set, so it’s definitely not one of the cheaper models!) This is not the customer service that I would have expected from such a venerable Canadian company. I have attempted to speak with someone at the store and have put in well over 3 hours between calls that no one picks up or placed on hold and no one comes back and picks up the phone. Disappointed, frustrated, angry are all things that I’m feeling about this experience with Canadian Tire. Buyer beware! (I will update with another review should the situation change)

Terrible Out Of Warranty Customer Experience

We loved the product at first, but after our 3rd summer (where the couch has been undercover, out of the elements) every single one of the couch cushions is fraying at the seams and Canvas does not sell any replacement parts!!! We tried raising our concern with Canadian Tire, even asking to purchase new cushions, but the manufacturer is not set up to sell parts to the consumer, they only cover things under warranty. After the warranty is up, you're out of luck with this product and Canadian Tire is no help!! Purchase at a better retailer, who will stand by their product and help their customers. Overall very dissatisfied.

No, I do not recommend this product.

The corner chair is considered to be 1 seat and the maximum weight capacity is 250lbs. The Right Side Loveseat is considered to be 2 seats and the maximum weight capacity is 500lbs. The Left Side Loveseat is considered to be 3 seats and the maximum weight capacity is 750lbs. Each seat has a 250lb. maximum weight limit. This sectional's weight capacity is a total of 1450lbs. Q: How's the fraying when you turn the cushion fabric inside out treating you? I see demo has heavy fraying by the zipper ( when you look inside ans turn inside out). I do not see this in other canvas sofas... very disappointing for this one
