Convenient and reliable!

I have had my grill for 7 years now. I have not taken great care of it. It has been across the country 5 times and it still works great. I have the half-griddle side which is perfect for steak and eggs, or fajitas. I highly recommend this unit! The folding feature with the wheels allows for storage in an rv as well as dragging it through sand at the beach.

Luv mine ability to collapse and roll under camper or in back of pick up is ideal. Side tables are great feature. Gets very hot or can run on low for some slow cooking can find perfect temp with gauge on lid

It’s okay but not convenient to clean

I had high hopes for this grill. I like the portability and the brand in general. But it is very hard to clean and maintain. Burgers and chicken just cooked average but you do have to watch for flare ups or your meat will burn right up. It just wasn’t for me.

Thank you for contacting us with your question about whether a 20-pound propane bottle can be used with the Coleman® RoadTrip® 285 Portable Stand-Up Propane Grill if you purchase a hose for it. A 20 lb. propane tank can be used with this grill. But you'll need to use an adaptor, such as a Coleman® High-Pressure 5-ft Propane Gas Hose.

Thank you for reaching out to us with your inquiry to know if the Coleman® Roadtrip Portable 3-Burner Propane Gas BBQ Grill with a Folding Cart Stand can be directly connected to a camper outlet. Coleman appliances are designed to work with high pressure propane systems that are not supported by Recreational Vehicles. Connecting your (Stove/Grills) to your RV is not recommended due to the risk to your safety and the validity of its warranty.

A: Hello! Thank you for your question. Please be advised that this grill only uses a 16.4-ounce propane gas cylinder. However, if you want to use a bigger tank, you can use a 20-pound propane tank, but a Coleman High-Pressure 5-foot Propane Gas Hose is required as an adapter.
