Cleans a cast iron grill well, but the brush head is plastic so it melts if it comes into contact with the grill if it's still hot. I usually let the bbq heat up to about 600 deg after I'm done cooking, leave it for about 10 minutes and then brush it, so I don't think this product will last too long. I attached a grill wipe to the brush after a good cleaning - awkward, but it worked - and the grill looked much cleaner. It's a good brush, cheap and sturdy, but the plastic head is a negative.
