Seems to operate well, but needs some QC applied.

Assembly was fairly straightforward but took some time to get everything organized and completed. There is an error in the instructions - the battery for the igniter should be inserted with the positive end first. The lid is misaligned. It is lower on the right front and it binds against the right lower casting. It can be flexed by hand, but seems to prefer the binding alignment. Suggestions to remedy this would be appreciated. It seems to operate as expected otherwise.

Bought this grill about 2 months ago. When assembling it, one of the inserts to screw the grease pan holder into the grease tray was simply missing. Relatively minor problem that I was able to solve with a bolt and a nut so I decided not to return it. Then, the third or fourth time I used it, one of the wheels fell right off. The brackets holding the wheels on the base of the unit aren't welded or riveted or anything. Just pressed/punched; poor design. Also, the TempAssured feature is a 4-AA-batteries-powered novelty that you will seldom, if ever, use. Considering this is a 600$ propane grill, I'm 😞

No, I do not recommend this product.

For clarification of the TempASSURE technology. The 4-AA battery pack is only used to power the blue light that glows when the TempASSURE knob is activated. The TempASSURE technology that maintains temperature for the oven feature is regulated through the manifold, and probe located within your firebox. If you were to remove the 4-AA batteries, the TempASSURE technology would still maintain temperature, only the blue knob light would stop working. Hope this helps!

I was surprised at how poor these instructions were. Missing labels and small fuzzy pictures in poorly written English. Also the conversion kit is a waste of money as it includes the common tools most people already have in order to assemble the BBQ. Don't buy it unless you need a hose.
