The Vermont Castings Grill Pellet Storage Bin features a durable wood pellet container. It is specially designed for storing grilling pellets. The pellet bin has a capacity of 20 lb (9 kg), so you can store a full bag of Vermont Castings pellets. Thanks to the airtight bin, the pellets preserve freshness for an optimal burn. When in use, store bin in a dry location. The bin easily collapses for compact storage when not in use. Its integrated handle enables easy pouring of pellets into the smoker box or grill. Alternatively, use the included scoop for quick pellet top-ups.

Its okay and will work.

I like the collapsible bucket for my wood pellets. It will do what I need if it stays air tight. The lid opening is too small to insert scoop and lift it out. You have to tilt the bucket to get full scoops out. The little rubber O-ring at the small lid opening likes to pop out and not stay in place when put back on. My original plan was an airtight dog food bin, which would probably work better. The clearance price made it compelling to try, and thats why I bought it. For clearance price, I think it was 'reasonable'.

Bought it on sale and even then it wasn't worth the price. Cheap material that had both the handle and the locking grips break upon first use.

The idea here is good. Maybe exactly what it is supposed to be. But, it is NOT waterproof. Stood next to my Pitboss grill ,snapped down the sides, push locked the top, and let it sit there over the weekend. Not in direct fire of the rain and half way under an awning. Half bag pellets puffed amd gone. In context it in advertising doesnt say waterproof, but air tight for freshness. So maybe one just sells themselves on this being able to not leak through. But i guess not. Was gonna buy a few, for each type and blends of pellets, even has a nifty measurement scoop. Alas. Nah. Ill just get a better bin that is watertight.

Tried everything to keep the pellets dry in this bin and it is far from airtight, it's ruined 2 bags of pellets now on me. I will not be using it anymore
