Great product for the price only 4 stars because of the Bestway website

We have had the Santorini Saluspa set up for just under à week. We bought this model as it has hydro jets as well as bubble jets The set up was quite quick although the instructions were general and the code to get help from the Bestway website brings you to a not very easy to navigate website mostly aimed at selling more products. We jumped in the hot tub when it was all ready and turned on the hydrojets. It felt like a tickle at best. We were disappointed and thought something was wrong with the pump. Long story short it turned out that we hadn’t removed the black rectangular cover over the intake for the jets. Works much better! The tub is very roomy. We had 4 adults in the tub and it was comfortable. We would have liked to have gotten a starter kit of chemicals for water management with it and better instructions on managing pH etc. as this is our first hot tub. Overall we are really enjoying the tub and feel it is a good product at the price.

Good spa

This inflatable spa was easy enough for one person to set up and get operating. 120V operation has some limitations because 1850W only can do so much. Heat and filtration and bubble massage or powered jets. The bubbles actually do a decent job of general massage and the jets are powerful enough to do the same. It hit 40 deg C no problem outside on my patio. I did insulate the connecting pipes from the pump box to the tub, wrapped with 1/2 inch foam. Keeping the tub out of the wind will make it stay hotter longer. It is completely worth the money. It seems well made and is not kiddie pool. Speaking of kids, the cover is really well made and looks like it would hold the weight of an adult (that fell onto the tub, not standing on it). the latches are not easy to get off and would likely be impossible for a young child to take the cover off.

Q: Can this withstand winter months in Canada?

A: This unit includes Freeze Shield® technology, which helps protect internal components by maintaining temperatures between 6°C and 10°C (42°F–50°F). However, in many parts of Canada, outdoor temperatures regularly drop well below this range. Because of that, we can’t guarantee reliable operation or protection throughout the entire winter season. Performance will depend on how cold it gets in your specific area. For best results and to prevent potential damage, we recommend following the winterizing guidelines in the manual and considering seasonal storage if temperatures drop significantly below freezing.

A: Thanks for your inquiry! Our inflatable hot tubs plug into a standard North American household outlet. They require 110–120V / 60Hz power and draw approximately 12 amps. For safety, the tub must be plugged directly into a GFCI-protected outlet, and we recommend not using extension cords.
