This double rider tube makes staying afloat easy and comfortable. The multiple handles provide various riding positions, while padded seating allows up to two people to relax as they are towed across the water. The side walls cushion the ride, keeping riders onboard even during rougher rides. The quick connect tow points let you use the backrest or ride facing each other. Inflating and deflating the sturdy PVC bladder is simple using the speed safety valves, so you'll be back on dry land in no time.

First time buying an Airhead tube. It’s built sturdier than other tubes I’ve owned. It is nice to be able to accommodate different ages/levels of riders.

Ok so I’m only on this site because my beloved “Big Mable” has her first leak and is looking a little faded after 30 years of annual use. By far the best tube we have ever owned, so planning to buy Big Mable II next summer. This my favorite tube as a child and now it’s my kids’ favorite. Super stable even at high speeds for riders who don’t want to fall in but also flippable if the captain knows how to pull. Don’t judge the picture. She is well loved. But this is THE one.

Q: We had our tube for only 1 season and the bladder has stretched to a huge hump in middle. The tube is no longer usable. And warranty was only 1 yr. Do you sell the bladders individually?

  • A: We are very sorry that you had that experience with your Mable. You can purchase a replacement bladder if you are out of warranty. Search the site for part 53-2213-T by clicking the search button on the top of the screen. If it shows that we are out of stock, please call our customer service team. The website automatically shows that we are out of stock when the inventory drops below 10 units so that we don't accidentally oversell. We may still have some available!

Q: I have the 4 person one, and when inflated to the suggested PSI , there is big bubble on the bottom section ( not the backrest section) but its perfectly centered in the middle and protrudes up and down on the underside. My wife thinks I have to much air?

Q: What is the minimum horse power engine required to tow Big Mabel?

  • A: No less than 40 HP. My Princecraft has 115Hp. Cadeful the Mabel can nose dive and spray the kids in the face !?

Q: My speed valve popped open on our first use, and water got inside the bottom cushion. I can hear water sloshing around some of the inner rings of the tube. How should I orient the cushion to get the water to flow to the outer ring, and out the valve?

  • A: It may be helpful to let the air out of the tube and remove it from the cover. Then hang it with the opening for the fill valve at the lowest point for the water to drain out.

Q: While most of our big Mable is in good shape - the handholds are completely frayed and disintegrated, making it no longer safe to use. Is it possible to buy just a new cover  for this? It is an expensive toy to have it become unusable!
