Q: Will I need to re Wax the bottom of my fiberglass boat after using this Product?

  • A: Hello Guilermo, thank you for your question. This hull cleaner is lower on the pH scale, which means it is acidic. A light cleaning on fiberglass should not require having to re-wax. However, if the hull has not been waxed for a length of time, or if the cleaning is significant with repeated applications and longer dwell times, re-waxing can be required. Q: Will this product damage vinyl (fiberglass to be cleaned is close to vinyl so possibility of inadvertent transfer)??

  • A: Rubber gloves need to be worn. I apply and remove with a pressure washer or garden hose. No scrubbing required. Flush well after 5 to 10 minutes, stay away from vinyl.

  • A: Spray Nine Marine Boat Bottom Cleaner would not be the recommended product for this application. Rain-X X-Treme Clean, Canadian Tire part number 038-4123, is the ideal and purpose engineered product to remove oxidation and renew headlights and windshields..
