    broke first use

    unfortunately it broke first use. cant use retract the unit . I should have just bought a solid unit .

    Generally I am impressed with HT Enterprises products but this one was quite the opposite. Worked great for getting the slush out of the hole, broke as soon as I tried to let the slush to fall off.

    Telescope Saves Your Back

    Skimmer works well. Telescope saves a lot of bending which is appreciated. The only thing missing is a hard chisel end on the handle which would have been nice to chisel out ice. That would have made it a five star.

    extended handle is ergonomically advanced. To more bending or squatting to clean out your fishing hole. Just extend and scoop.
