Smelt Fishing

4 years ago

Using the pole for fishing smelts. Found the line would constantly unravel soon as the reel was opened. The reel said it was good for 85 yards. I removed half the line but noticed it continued to do the same thing. I did like the sensitivity the pole had when I had a fish nibble. Smelts are not known to be aggressive so the pole was great in that aspect.
