I bought this to replace the garbage reel that came with the Dock Demon combo I bought for my wife. It hasn't been used yet, but I can tell you I am pleasantly surprised by the weight and quality of this reel for the price and I'm confident that it will preform better than any cheap spincast combo reel that you are looking to replace!
