The LifeStraw GO Series Water Bottle is the ultimate sidekick for safer, better-tasting water for travel and everyday use. The BPA-free bottle filters out nasties, so you can fill up from airport bathrooms, a tap in Mexico or a gas station while road-tripping. The advanced 2-stage filter improves taste and protects against bacteria, parasites, microplastics, chlorine, silt, sand and cloudiness. The BPA-free bottle is made from 50% post-consumer recycled plastic.

  • Features a membrane microfilter that protects against bacteria (including E.coli + Salmonella), parasites (including Giardia and Cryptosporidium), microplastics, sand, dirt and cloudiness

  • Carbon filter reduces chlorine, odours and organic chemical matter to improve the taste of water

  • Membrane microfilter lasts up to 4,000 L (1,000 gallons) about five years of daily use (equivalent to 8,000 single use plastic water bottles)

  • Carbon filter lasts up to 100 L (26 gallons), about two months

  • BPA free and dishwasher safe, once filter is removed

Faulty Cap

Honestly I wanted to love this bottle, unfortunately already had to replace it. While the filter/straw is very innovative I had some issues that made me leave this review. For my water-bottle the cap handle piece would not tightly screw on, and became loose to the point where it would just fall off and drop the bottle while walking or carrying from the handle. Dropping the bottle and water splurting everywhere in the gym is obviously very embarrassing. Hopefully the cap gets a redesign because i love the idea!

Suction

I love that this bottle filters my water but I do not like how difficult it is to actually drink the water in the bottle. The suction is not my favorite. It’s fine if you want to sip on water but not ideal when you actually need to rehydrate
