Q: Hi I'm wondering if the bottoms on these pieces are smooth? I would like to use not only for camping, but at home on my kitchen glass top stove. My husband has an old skillet but the bottom surface is rough. I'm worried it will scratch/ruin the stove.

A: they're not smooth like glass or stainless steel, but they're not rough like a gravel road either. I use on my induction tops daily. all I use is my cast

A: Any cooking oil works if you need to reseason your cast iron. I use olive oil.

Q: Can the dutch oven be used on a stovetop or in the oven? It looks like it isn't flat on the bottom. Can it only be used on a fire or barbecue grill?

A: The bottom of the Dutch Oven in my set is NOT flat. It has three little feet on it that lift it about 1 inch off the ground. You can even see one of them in the display picture above.
