This product was purchased for a compact backpack as needed while travelling. It easily rolls into itself and serves its purpose. Excellent price point. An additional zippered pocket on the inside of the bag for valuables would be extremely helpful.

A: Laid flat and empty on the table it measures 16” tall and 13”wide. Easily holds my Polartec 300 jacket + more. One of the best travel accessories I have, has survived 3 trips to Japan, easily 1/3 of the price of competitors and performs well, packs up to a tiny pouch which I carry in my shoulder pod.

A: I'd say no, it's too thin, there is no padding on this bag. It is just a fabric, very light weight day pack that you can pack into your pocket if it's empty, so I would not be using it for carrying out your laptop.
