Worth the heavier weight for the durability

The O'Hara tarp is slightly heavier than some more expensive backpacking tarps out there but it was worth it's weight when a big thunderstorm hit this past weekend. It rained heavy for 3-4 hours and the tarp help up well. The color is more blue than the photo on the website but same build. It is slightly difficult to put back in the holder it came with but with some careful folding, you can get it back in.

Q: How many grommets available for attachment points? Is it just one grommet per corner? One per side as well or does the longer side have two for extra strength? The photos provided doesn't really show the product well.

  • A: One grommet per corner, one center of each side, plus a loop in the center of the tarp. Yes the question is 2 years old, but the other answer is misleading and may make people think there are only 4 tie out points.
