Sustained worst rainstorm ever!

I can literally put this tent together in less than 10 minutes all by myself, you don’t need to be two person, it’s so easy to assemble. The whole conception and quality of the materials are premium. On my first expedition, it sustained one of the worst rainstorm I’ve ever seen which lasted a couple of hours. There was no water leaks whatsoever, everything in the tent stayed dry, I was really impressed. I’m a solo traveler with a 60lbs Husky and I sleep on a queen mattress and there is still plenty of space for him and my gear. This format (8’x12’) is perfect and can be setup pretty much anywhere as the footprint is not too big for the size of this tent. Highly recommend this product for the price tag ($199,95 after rebate).

  • A: This tent doesn’t come with a divider. But what I did I improvised. I used a light blanket and clip-on top inside of the tent :)

Q: Is it possible to use the fly without setting up the canopy? For example if I had a small site with room for the tent, but not enough room to set up the canopy? Does the canopy roll up or tuck under the fly for a situation like this?

  • A: The canopy portion of the fly can be rolled up and held with loop and toggles over the doorway to the tent.

Q: Does the pass through for electrical cords have a zipper to completely close it? Same question for the door.

  • A: Hello, so the electrical port does not have a zipper. It has overlapping folds of fabric. In regards to the front door, it zippers shut. The mesh windows in doors zippered fabric covering as do the windows in the tent.

  • A: Good afternoon, The roof frame was improved in 2018 to ensure pooling does not occur. An extra fiberglass pole is now included to ensure improved curvature and run off of water. Please ensure guy lines are used when setting up the tent.

Q: How much wind can the tent sustain. We have it set up behind our house and are expecting winds of 21km/h - 31 km/h, gusting to 33 km/h - 47 km/h/ . Will this be too much for the tent to handle?

  • A: Although this tent is manufactured according to rigorous specifications, periods of wind or rain may loosen the stakes and cause the frame to sink into the ground. This will weaken the structure’s overall rigidity. Adjustment of guy lines may be necessary.

Q: Needing a replacement roof support pole I called Woods. I was informed that replacement parts are NOT AVAILABLE for this tent. Why does the tent manual include a list of parts with part numbers if parts are not available? How do I get a replacement pole?
