Great for smaller enclosed ventilated spaces for additional heat

I replaced my forced air construction heater with this unit. My forced air is hotter and throws heat further but only lasted about 5 hoirs in a 20lb tank. This lasts 17 hours with both heaters going which is great for heating smaller ventilated spaces like a construction site. If you’re looking for heat outdoors you have to be sitting very close to it to feel the heat, so it may not be the best choice for sitting outside to keep warm unless it’s just a couple of people, most of the heat rises upwards.

A: It depends on where you have the heater temperature set. On high you can expect 4-6 hours; medium 6-10 hours,; low 10-14 hours.

Q: There are two descriptions outlining its square footage heating ability (up to 1500 sqft and up to ~700 sqft). Would this warm a 900sqft party tent (with the sides put in o course).

A: Hi there. This heater really gives off some great heat. I have it in a covered porch area similar to the space you are talking, no sides and I feel it does a good job. I think it would work.

A: Per the manufacturers safety instructions…this device is unsafe to operate in an enclosed environment like indoor, in an RV etc. You require an integrated fresh air return the type you see with fireplaces.

Q: Why wont the burners light today? Yesterday it worked All of my greenhouse plants are dead. over 2000$ loses when the burners went out, with a full tank of propane.

A: If you are using this heater in a green house you need to ventilate a bit to get an air change - this burner will burn of all the oxygen and go out. You want be able to light it again until sufficient oxygen is added to the green house.

Q: can you have only one burner going at a time, and can you adjust what each one puts out?

A: yes The thermo coupling keeps gas shut off until it is hot enough, so if you don't light up 1 side there will be no gas flowing. (either side) If you have 2 on you cannot regulate heat independently.
