    MTB Trainer Slick

This tyre easily fits my 29"x 2.1 Trailhead rim. This requires the proper inner tube to fit properly. The reduced size from the larger 29"x2.1 tyre allow the bike to fit on the trainer.

    Good cruising tire

It's rather loose fitting and it took some effort to keep it from slipping off the rim while trying to put it on. It's got a good tread for wet and dry weather for casual cycling. Got these on year-end clearance - so can't complain.

    Questions

    1 - 6 of 6 Questions

Q: Is there one tire or two tires in the box? I'm confused with the "front & rear bike tire" part in the title.

    • A: There’s only one piece in each tire box. And "front & rear bike tire" refers that it can be applied on front or rear tire.

Q: I have an vintage CCM bicycle and the original tires indicate - - 28' x 1.5" F.13 rims. Some preliminary research makes me think this tire might work. Suggestions for finding a tire and tube for my bike?

    • A: The metric sizes are very close to the imperial units. 28” x 25.4 = 711.2 mm 1.5” x25.4 = 38.1 mm My guess is it will fit.  At any rate the cost is minimal, so it’s worth a try

Q: my current tire is 700*35 c, can this one fit?

    1 Answer
    • A: There will be no issue fitting the tire on your current rim. The only issue would be the clearance with their frame. Without knowing exactly the bike model or dimensions for clearance we can’t 100% guarantee the tire will clear their frame. It’s highly likely it will as it’s only 3mm of difference and most bikes have the clearance for this but again we can’t 100% guarantee this. After mounting the tire to the current rim it would be easy to see if the tire would rub the frame.

Q: Would this tire be okay for gravel roads?

    1 Answer
    • A: The K193 is a mixed use tread pattern and on level packed dirt it would be okay to use. If the gravel is course and or loose, we would recommend a more robust tread pattern.
