Q: My brother is a beginner and inexperienced skateboarder, he said that he doesn’t need Gears including helmet. Is it really safe for him to ride a Skateboard without a helmet? I’m planning on getting him a skateboard helmet but he might refuse to wear it.

A: No one needs a helmet - until they hit their head. Just look at professional and Olympic athletes. These folks are the best of the best, and guess what? They wear helmets. Clearly, they must think they are a good idea or they wouldn't wear them. Buy your brother a helmet. Maybe he'll wear it or maybe he won't, but at least you tried.
