    BEST OF THE BUNCH FOR 2 REASONS

    Most bicycle pumps are designed for the severely vertically challenged. This one is tall enough to not be annoying. Many of the pumps have a very small head at the end of the hose, giving the user almost nothing to hang on to while you are attempting to rotate the lever into the engaged position. That results in bending of the hose at the head, which will lead to premature failure of the hose at the head. The head on this one is long enough to allow you to hold it fairly well as you rotate the lever. In the storage position, the hose snaps into a clip, which holds the hose and stops the handle from extending while you pick it up. Not a perfect pump, but possibly the best of the junk that is sold today. I actually paid full price for it, which I almost never do at CTC, but I'm happy with it.
