The Raleigh Encounter Hybrid Bike was designed as a Dual Sport bike to combine the features of a mountain bike with the efficiency of a hybrid. Hit the trails in the morning and ride home through the city in the afternoon. By merging the qualities of mountain and hybrid bikes together, the Encounter does it all, and does it well. The Encounter is built for performance with features like a Shimano EZ fire shifting system, alloy-crown suspension fork, alloy disc brakes and alloy double-wall rims. All these features paired with the lightweight aluminum frame, lightweight alloy crank and stem, gives you a lightweight performer that can do it all.

Great bike! Bad service

I bought it and didn’t realize until I got home that there was a big scratch on the bike. Customer service was good mentioning that they would get back to for a solution and well it’s been over a week with no call for a resolution. I personally love the bike and have no problems. But am not happy about the customer service on this “no returns or exchanges” policy they have in place…
