Do you have the 3 inch version of this tape?

Your 1 inch self-fusing silicone tape is not wide enough for deeper gaps. Do you have the 3 inch width version of this tape? You need to sell the 3 inch width version of this tape. We prefer clear/colorless tape, which is best for general repairs.

Leaky Shower

I had a problem with a leaky shower so I caulked the entire unit. Just to make sure I used some silicone tape on the fixture around the supply line as there is a small opening there between the fixture and the shower wall, The leak has stopped and the tape is water resistant and after repeated showers it is working as described on the package.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TAPE

I had a vacuum leak on my freeze dryer, and was told to use this tape on all the connection points. I used the tape as directed. When stretched, and wrapped snugly around a dry hose or connection it seals like you would not believe. This stuff really is incredible In my situation it was a game changer! 2 👍👍

A: Hi, This silicone tape has technically no adhesive and is self-fusing, meaning that the tape will bond to itself by wrapping around something. Therefore, we cannot say this tape is "double-sided". Cantech team

Q: Is this product safe for use on a potable water flexible hose like for a kitchen faucet?

A: I don't know about the potable safeness, but I used it on a garden hose and the water just came out around the edges. I've used it before to connect a washing machine hose to an outlet and it was good. I think it's being flexible and under pressure that's the problem.

Q: I'm thinking of using this to fix a small leak in a power steering hose. Will this product work?

A: Fusion Pro should work for this application. If you go to the vendor’s website www.cttgroup.com there is a banner ad showing some of the applications. PSI maximum is 80. You should wrap the tape over the leak repeatedly and allow 24 hours for the tape to fuse for best results.
