This polyurethane foam weather seal is designed to effectively seal one window unit, reducing the loss of cool or hot air when needed most. The seal is easy to apply, simply press in place to fill gaps. It offers minimum compression for added security. The foam is fine but 42'' is to short. My air con 5,000 btu is 20'' long and 13'' high. So I need 66''. they never measure a small air con before selling their product. That is pretty insignificant !

Q: What is the REAL width and height? The Name say 1-1/4-in and the Specifications also say 1.25 in. But the description says just 1/4" (and 0.6 cm, which would be 1/4".)

  • A: Sorry Meda - I mis-read your answer and thought your were just letting me know that 1-1/4 is larger than 1/4, doh! Thanks for the confirmation that it is "the larger size" 1-1/4 (and not 1/4.) Just need CT to fix the incorrect description now. (Along with the website's CSS so that the Submit button isn't black text on a black background...)
