I haven’t bought a toilet in a decade or 2 but…

I haven’t bought a toilet in a decade or 2 but when did they start showing up dirty. Even the bowl looked like it was used already. Had to spend an 1/2hr scrubbing the toilet clean. Would have returned it but I just wanted to get a toilet installed. Besides that, toilet works like it is suppose to. I’d show the pictures I have taken but I can’t figure out how to post them in this review.

Bought it 3 months ago. Toilet installs well. The Ravenna 3 has an easier coating to clean and it sure does. Big difference between this toilet look and others. Nice to sit on. 5/5

Rapid flush

I bought it last year and am impressed by the quick strong flush which takes about 2 seconds both through swirl and jet action. It was relatively easy to assemble if following instructions. It is quiet operation and could difficult to know when it is filling or full before pressing flush lever. With today's lower volume of flushing, this quick discharge hopefully will minimize pipe clogging . It has linear water height control which is accurate and adjustable by click action nut. Flush lever has to be depressed for 2 seconds to complete the flush action. When mounting the bowl 2 people should be used to precisely locate the bowl, as it is relatively heavy. Definitively the strong flush action is helped by oversized dump valve. Basically it was well designed where it matters. Gaskets between bowl and tank have to be properly mounted and screwed firm for no leakage. All in all well designed although there is always room for improvement. Price for the rapid flush is reasonable.

We are very happy with this toilet. It flushes so much better than our old one. It uses much less water as well but with a 6l flush uses a little more than the low flush models available. We checked out many models before choosing this one - how do you really know until you try it?? But happy it worked out.

This toilet replaced a far more expensive toilet that looked beautiful but did not work well. This new toilet is low tech but uses reliable flushing mechanism and performs terrifically.

Q: What is the bowl height of this toilet. American Standard model #7419756ST has bowl height of 16.5". Other Ravena models have lower bowl heights. Would help if model number included in CTC's description

A: The height with the seat will be 16 1/4 inches. As a manufacturer they only give bowl heights without seat. In this case it’s 15”.
