This has been installed for 6 months. The push button that adjusts the flow has already quit working. I expected more from a Moen product.

Bad shower head. Don’t be fooled.

I have had this shower head for less than a year. It is already broken. The threaded ring that attaches to the water supply is cheap plastic and broke. Why? Because the cheap magnetic feature didn’t hold the shower head in place and it fell off the cradle, yanking down on the joint and cracked. Do not recommend this one at all. Any positive reviews are likely from people who just got it, like the appearance, but having had extended use yet. So don’t be fooled.

Q: Can the filter to prevent wasting water be taken out to get higher water presure as my water presure is really low as I live on a comunity well and they set it low.

The Moen 26112 Engage 6-Setting 5.5" Magnetix Handheld Showerhead, Chrome has a 2.5 Gallon Per Minute at 80 PSI flow rate. You may want to check the screen washer installed between the hose and the handshower to ensure it is not clogged with water line debris or deposit build-up as this would slow down the flow coming out of the handshower. The flow control device in the Moen 26112 Engage 6-Setting 5.5" Magnetix Handheld Showerhead, Chrome cannot be adjusted to increase or decrease the maximum flow rate. The U.S. Energy Policy Act restricts the maximum flow of plumbing products and the removal of flow control devices. If you have any additional questions, Moen product specialists can be reached at 1-800-289-6636 and are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 7:00 pm Eastern Time.
