I don't know why wax rings still exist! This item works so much more effectively and doesn't leave wax all over everything. Plus, if you need to reposition the toilet, no problem.

Dans les situations où la bride a un diamètre de 3 pouces, elle provoque le repli vers l'intérieur de la jupe du joint bleu. La solution consiste alors à pratiquer deux fentes, partant de la base vers le haut et situées l'une en face de l'autre, afin de relâcher la tension et d'éliminer ce repli. FluidMaster

Q: Does the fluid master toilet gasket kit mentions it fits 3" and 4" waste pipes. Is the 3'' an inside diameter or outside diameter on the gasket kit itself

  • A: Typically pipes are measured as inside diameter.  3" Pipe having an ID of 3" nominal (3.075") and the pipe itself OD is 3.5".  For 4" pipe it is 4.033 ID and 4.5" OD.  The way the neck on this flange kit works is it fits inside the waste pipe.
