Great pump for our garden

I bought this to replace a pump that had failed. So far, it's been really good. Good pressure, quiet and good flow. It's built for Canadian Tire by a major pump manufacturer so parts should be easy to get as time goes on. Highly recommended.

mixed feelings - too early to tell

a month ago

pump ran for twenty minutes and started leaking around the impeller seal , was pleased with the volume of water that it pumped. Decided to exchange the pump rather then request a refund, hopefully the premature seal, failure was a one off. Was very pleased with the return process , store staff was very helpful in sorting out the issue and processing the exchange.

owned this pump for a year to transfer water from our water bag into our house reserves as we are off grid. it just stopped working, I think it had to do with my kids running it dry numerous times. just bought another one.

GARBAGE!

Garbage... Complete and utter garbage! save your money! I purchased 1 in July 2024 to pump water from IBC (large rain water totes) to just do spot watering in the garden and greenhouse... Worked fine for that first 4-5 months. Disconnected and stored inside for winter.. True to form with 1 year warranty, plugged it in the following May, primed it and the gaskets around the impellor have dried out and not it does nothing but pump AIR! Returned it to the local CT and was replaced with 4 days left in the warranty.. Again used the new pump, and dismantled for winter storage... And vola! plugged in this season and again, gaskets yukered and pumps nothing but air... No Warranty left on the new pump because it only applied to the original pump... Save your money!

A: The connection is 3/4 garden hose connection, the hose can be a different interior diameter. Some garden hose is 1/2 and 5/8 interior diameter, they all work. The smaller the hose the less efficient the pump.

Q: How many feet up can this pump push? I need about 30 feet up from lake to RV.

A: I haven't tested this to verify, but the user manual says that it has a "Maximum Discharge Head" of 120' (36.6m), plus a "Maximum Suction Lift" of another 15' (4.6m), so that seems like way more than enough for your 30' requirement.
