Exactly what is required for the MTD snow blower

The Snowblower Replacement Auger Drive Belt 2 Pc. Set, 3/8 x 35 for MTD Snow Blower was exactly what is required for the MTD machine. Very convenient. The one suggestion that I have is to ask the store employee in charge of this area, not to hung them willy-nilly on the rack. It took two store employees and myself to find this product, as there was no obvious system to the display area.

Q: Why do you say CT Certified Snowblower Belt .375 x 34.9" sku #060-7246-0 is a replacement for MTD 754-0430 (954-0430C) which is reported to be 0.405" x 35". This belt will wear prematurely.

A: I’m not sure who made that claim, but I’ve been using this on my 20+ year old snowblower for two years now without any issues. My belts are so old but I just took rough measurements and bought a belt that fit. They got up to use and heavy Snow and Drifts last year, and this year they got a lot of use in the snow it was much lighter and fluffier because of the cold weather. Are you a belt professional looking for an argument, or a sales rep for a more expensive brand?
