Works great, but I like the controls on the previous model I bought. That model has a dial on the front to adjust the speed, when you pull the trigger all the way. This model has a "cruise" setting, which is nice, but the variable speed trigger is pretty touchy. I think it will just take some time to get used to it. It does have great power....

Hi Drew! Thank you for reviewing your EGO LB6150 leaf blower. Run time varies depending on the speed setting. You will get much more run time on low than on high, and we recommend using turbo sparingly if you are concerned about run time. A 5.0 Ah battery would certainly provide a significant increase in run time over a 2.5 Ah as well. We appreciate your review!

Bought this to replace a broken Stihl blower that I had already repaired before. The EGO has great power and nice to have the option to control speed and power. Battery seems to have longer use time than previous Stihl blower

Q: Is the battery compatible with an ego 22" lawnmower?

  • A: Hi Patricia! Great question. While the EGO BA1400T battery is compatible with all of our mowers, we recommend using larger batteries for optimal performance and run time. For the LM2240SP mower, we recommend using 6.0 Ah or higher batteries. For the LM2200SP and LM2230SP, we recommend using 10.0 Ah or higher batteries, and for the commercial LMX5300SP, we recommend using two 12.0 Ah batteries. Thank you for asking!
