Received as a Christmas gift from my husband as I am an avid gardener. This tool has been so disappointing. It barely has enough power to cut small branches on the smallest of my shrubs. When running it sounds like the battery is just about dead yet when you check it the battery it is fully charged and because of how slow the blades move it almost tears the branches and leaves instead of cutting them. Do not buy this tool.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Will this unit trim old raspberry stalks?

A: Hello There! Thank you for your question. The blades cutting capacity will be 0.3", if the stalks are any bigger than this the tool may have some trouble cutting them. However, please take a look at our WG330, this will be a 20V pruning shear and lopper and can help cut the stalks as well! Thank you for choosing Worx!

A: They can absolutely be sharpened or get a small miniature files back from Walmart cost about 3 to 5 dollars and very carefully file a new edge on them just like you were the lawnmower with a huge File

Q: Things were working great until the grass shear blades clipped a chainlink fence and it forced the plastic gear mechanism to separate/pop out. Are there instructions on how to reassemble that part again or is it just broken when this happens?

These are what is recommended for hedge trimmer blades, and these specific blades are very similar. We also do have spare blades available for purchase through our customer support!
