Liked the Worx so much we purchased a second WG170 Trimmer and Edger! Extremely light weight and easy to use. We have one set-up for trimming and the other set-up for edging. Batteries last 20 to 30 minutes which is great for a small yard. Lifetime string spools is a plus! Easily adjustable. The only item that could be improved is the string cutter blade... Not very durable. Had to order a replacement guard to replace the cutting blade as it had broken off at some point during use. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic Grass Trimmer

I bought this product to replace my black and Decker 10 year electric trimmer. I wanted a battery one this time, and I have the Worx electric leaf blower and vacuum for over 10 years and its still going strong. So I thought I would go with Worx seeing I know they are made strong and dependable. I just love this new trimmer, its fast , quiet and I love that is has wheels that I can use in either direction. Its also very light which is great for me as I have sever arthritis . I hight recommend this product

A: Thank you for your question. If you have the machine in the position it was in out of the box and have the safety guard attached, lay it on the floor with the black safety guard down flat with the handle out to your right. Lightly step on the guard with your left foot to hold it in place and with your right hand take hold of the shaft and lift upward. It might feel as though it will not move but it will ratchet through several positions on the way to vertical. Once you have it vertical, take hold of the black twisting piece in the middle of the shaft and pull upward. You will feel the shaft give an inch or so allowing you to turn the handle a quarter turn to the left. You are now in the trimming position and can adjust the angle down to the angle comfortable for you. Thank you for choosing Worx
