I love that they have drain system in them, so that you don’t have to worry about dumping out excess water that would otherwise kill your plants! They have a good weight to them, but not so heavy that it’s impossible to move. So we can appreciate that!

  • A: The reservoir is about 8” deep and yes there is an overflow hole.  These planters are well constructed and will last for many years.  I have 5.  Well worth the price.

Q: What is the length/width of the base?

  • A: In regards to the different sizes, the base of the 28" planter is 12" (2.33 ft in height) where as the base of the 10" (in height) planter is 10" at the base (more cubic in frame) both has a tapered in base from the opening.

Q: How do you fill the water resevoir once the plant is in the pot?

  • A: On the top of the planter you will find a plug that you can remove to fill the water reservoir!  I have never actually used the watering feature because I just love the planter with my faux ferns in it!

  • A: Hello, When using the planter indoors the reservoir holds ample water, turning watering your plants into a less occasional task.
