Worked good until it started leaking air

Bought this a few weeks ago for some trim Installation work around the house. I have used it for casing trim around a few windows and doors and a bit of baseboard trim, when today I shot a nail into a board the and nailer started leaking air inside the housing. I understand there are O Rings and seals that wear out after prolonged use and need replacement but they shouldn’t wear out after a couple hundred nails. It worked good up until this issue so maybe it was a manufacturing defect. Regardless I will be returning tomorrow morning and buying a new one at a different hardware store.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Terrible situation

I have used this product three times so it has less than 1 hour of use before it malfunctioned. The 5 year warranty sounds great but is a waste if time. To have it repaired under warranty I would have to make 2 ,150 km round trips to the closest repair depot and pay labour as only parts would be covered. It would end up costing more than the original purchase price. I will look elsewhere for a replacement.

Q: MAXIMUM 18 gauge air stapler. Just purchased, will not fire staples. seems like it is missing spring loaded magazine function as staples slide back and forth inside magazine. how can i fix this issue?
