Good quality item

Bought to tape and finish a medium sized room and some access holes for electrical. Price was a bit higher than some competitors but decided to pay chase as I was already making a visit to Canadian tire. Saves time going back and forth to the bucket and lets me keep the lid tight on the mud bucket thereby preventing it from drying out. Quality is good, and hasn’t rusted like other lower quality drywall tools. This will remain with my drywall tools for years to come.

Buy the plastic one

Bought this as I needed a trough for a job I was doing close to the store. I was there buying mud anyways and picked this one up. When I put some mud in it, then added water to mix…I ended up pouring water all the floor as this is NOT water tight. All four corners just dumped the water out and the homeowner just glared at me as I cleaned up my mess. Returned the next day and brought my plastic one from home.

No, I do not recommend this product.

A: No! It is not sealed, water leaks out quickly. Mud weeps out the seams and corners and makes a big mess. Do not buy unless you plan to use exclusively thick, pre mixed mud
